Try changing the encryption method I have been having the absolute worst service with the web mail for months and i have just about had enough!
What is the url to log into spectrum webmail

When using spectrum webmail, link in emails do not display Does not display on pc, s2 and a8 tablets nor on android phone With you being able to send fine via earthlink's webmail this sounds like an issue within outlook itself At this time i would contact earthlink to see if they can assist you with verifying the server info as well as troubleshoot this further
In the meantime i can suggest using earthlink's webmail page to send/receive your mail.

Every time i ry to open my charter email i have the same i can't open it without jumping thru hoops.don't you have an icon where it will just take me there? Also, you posted your question in the outlook on the web (outlook.com) forum focused on accessing an outlook.com via webmail (your browser) so not at all clear whether your question pertains to adding an earthlink account as a connected account to an outlook.com account or this is in reference to an earthlink account and the outlook desktop. I was trying to set up email on outlook app and received this error
